Switzerland

Simple Facts about Switzerland

Parc Naziunal Svizzer | Siwss National Park

This is Switzerland's only national park. To reach Zernez from Malles/Mals in South Tyrol on the Italian side, take "PostBus CH" across from the train track at bus stop "811 to Zernez". If you have a Mobilcard from South Tyrol, it'll get you to the border town of Mustair. When you board the PostBus, the fare from Mustair to Zernez can be paid by either Swiss Franc or Euro on PostBus 811. This fare (11 CHf as of September 2017) is half the normal price with a MobileCard. The journey from Malles/Mals to Zernez takes about one and a half hours. The hike that I highly recommended is Margunet Stabelchod (P8)–Il Fuorn. It's simply stunning.

Butchart Gardens

I'll return to Butchart Gardens, but not by public transportation. It's extremely cumbersome to travel via SkyTrain, bus and ferry from Vancouver to Swartz Bay, and on to the gardens. You can find detailed directions under "How to Get Here" on its full site and choose the option that works for you.

Vancouver

I'll return to Phnom Penh Restaurant for the best Vietnamese food ever - outside of Vietnam, of course.
